Neighbours promised the biggest week in its show history and it has lived up to its expectations.
Following the explosion that rocked Erinsborough, destroying the Lassiters complex, fans have been on tender hooks awaiting the news who survived.
This week saw Joshua Willis (Harley Bonner), make the ultimate sacrifice, demanding that paramedics rescue Daniel Robinson (Tom Phillipps) the on-off again boyfriend of his onscreen sister Imogen Willis (Ariel Kaplan) first, sacrificing his own life in the process.
In one of the most emotional departures in recent years, Josh surrounded by his family, spoke via video chat to his former girlfriend and mother of his child, Amber Turner.

The passing of Doug Willis ends a memorable character arc that has seen the battle of Alzheimer’s brought to the forefront of mainstream soap television.
Just remember that this all happening in the same day so the Willis' just lost Josh & Doug in the one day
