Ten has announced its reality remake Australian Survivor will film be filmed in Samoa.
Recently announcing Jonathan LaPaglia as host, it is widely speculated filming will commence within the next 10 days.
According to ADNews.com.au – Network Ten chief programming officer Beverley McGarvey said “The 24 contestants we have selected will be transported to a unique and very different world, where they will have to outwit, outlast and outplay to become the ultimate survivor,” she says. Samoa has two large islands and four smaller ones with a population of around 200,000 people.

Australian Survivor is expected to air in August.
