Each week former SurvivorNZ player Shannon Quinn and Survivor superfan Ryan Brink will go head to head ranking each players likelihood of being voted out in the next episode from safest to most in danger.

The Rulebook: To play this game and for those of you following along, we will be using the traditional Gordon Holmes Power Rankings system to determine the winner. The ranking of the person who is voted out of the next episode will determine the number of points the players will earn.

Note:We rank our players from who we believe is least likely to most likely to be sent home that episode. These are not ranking of who we believe is going to win.
Current standings after Week 3. Franky was eliminated.

#1 Josh:

Josh is just cruising through. His confessionals show that he’s got a good understanding of the gameplay happening around him, he’s a strong member of the tight 5, he performs well in challenges and he hasn’t appeared to create any individual enemies. He looks good as gold this week.

#2 Brad:

If I had to pick a leader of the tight 5 I would probably pick Brad (which could be a bad thing for him eventually, but for now is working well). He still has an idol but I can’t see him needing to use it anytime soon, he looks well protected.

#3 Dave:

Dave is doing a good job at sticking with the majority and never putting his head out too far. His name has never been mentioned and I think it will stay that way next episode. Also, if a tribe swap does end up happening soon, he’s got a lot of potential options to work with.

#4 Arun:

Arun has been playing both sides extremely well so far from what I’ve seen, he also doesn’t seem to be the one making any decisions which is a safe move. If a tribe swap (or similar) happens soon he’ll be in a nice, flexible position. If not; he’s definitely playing with fire…

#5 Tess:

Still in a good position currently, I do think that she may be one of the first targeted if the tribes do get switched around in any way. But for now she has a solid alliance that should see her through.

#6 Matt:

Very interesting that Matt has chosen to talk strategy with Kaysha, he may not be as solidly invested in the tight 5 as originally thought. I think it’s a good move on his part to keep up connections with those around him that aren’t in his alliance, it’ll serve him well in the long run.

#7 Adam:

I don’t know what Adam does other than be hilarious or sleep – and that’s just fine by me. His alliance with Tess was a good move on his part, putting himself in somewhat of a power position without actually calling the shots.

Eve_Profile.png.2018-04-10T14_57_40+12_00

#8 Eve:

THIS WEEK HAD ME SHOOK. Don’t do that again to me please. I almost spewed when Eve announced the clue to the idol!! I’m glad it wasn’t wasted though, but I’ve dropped her down this week because her subtle gameplay has well and truly gone out the window now.

JT_Profile.png.2018-04-10T08_33_54+12_00

#9 JT:

Still seems to be controlling the voting, but it doesn’t sound like many people actually trust him for this reason. For now, I think his level of control will be enough to see him through but I wouldn’t be surprised if we see a mutiny in the near future.

Renee_Profile.png.2018-04-07T16_04_42+12_00
Photo: www.scottmcaulay.com

#10 Renee:

Renee still hasn’t seemed to wedge herself in any solid alliance, and her name even got tossed out as a voting option by Franky so people may consider it now. But she seems clever with her gameplay and I don’t think she would go down without a fight.

#11 Lisa:

Was Lisa in this episode?? Please show me more. All I imagined her doing last episode was hiding in the shadows and giggling at all the drama unfolding in front of her – probably accurate to be honest.

Tara_Profile.png.2018-04-10T08_34_01+12_00
Photo: www.scottmcaulay.com

#12 Tara:

Still doesn’t look to be in any firm alliance, but definitely isn’t an obvious choice for the chopping block this week. I hope Tara can pick her gameplay up a notch when the time comes.

Liam_Profile.png.2018-04-10T14_57_15+12_00
Photo: www.scottmcaulay.com

#13 Liam:

The boys all seem to be pretty solid so far but it still doesn’t look like Liam is in any particular alliance whatsoever. His days are numbered unless he can turn that around and start playing the game, at the moment he’s just an easy vote to bring
along – until you don’t need it anymore.

Kaysha_Profile.png.2018-04-07T16_04_36+12_00
Photo: www.scottmcaulay.com

 #14 Kaysha:

Good move trying to cozy up to Matt (not in a weird way), I’m sure he has a bit of say in the tight five’s decisions – it may just be enough to save her from one vote, but only while Dylan’s still in the game.

Dylan_Profile.png.2018-04-10T14_57_31+12_00
Photo: www.scottmcaulay.com

#15 Dylan:

I have no real idea what Dylan has done to turn his tribe against him but I really can’t see him digging his way out of this hole unless a tribe swap happens ASAP! It seems that the only thing keeping him afloat at this stage is Khang Khaw’s winning streak; but I wouldn’t be surprised if their luck has finally run out.

 #1 Arun

I really loved Arun’s game this week. He found himself within an inner circle of 3 with JT and Eve, but also had the outside of the onion alliance in Franky divulging all her information. He played it cool and calculated. He is not being considered a threat and hypothetically has access to an Idol. Great week Arun!

#2 Brad

Nothing jumps out from this episode with Brad, but he keeps solidifying his position within the game. Dominant in challenges and access to the hidden immunity idol, Brad is not going anywhere.

#3 Josh

I’m pumping up my pre-season winner pick! Slowly but surely he is taking control of the game and increasingly becoming visible in the edit as the potential leader of the “Khang Khaw 5.”

Eve_Profile.png.2018-04-10T14_57_40+12_00

 #4 Eve

I did not love the way she played the whole idol situation… Seriously! However she now has it in her back pocket ready to use if needed, as shown at this weeks tribal. She removed her biggest rival in Franky this week and is still in a core alliance with Arun and JT.

#5 Tess:

Tess continues being Tess! Her relationship with Kaysha was highlighted again this week and I fear is going to come out at some point. I loved how she instantly “knew…” Kaysha was lying after going to the Outpost herself last week.

 #6 Matt

Matt is in a really interesting position. We saw this week he was talking with Kaysha and looked to be creating a sub alliance with her. This can either go really well and give him leverage in the game, or backfire and ostracise him from the other members of the “tight 5.”

Photo: www.scottmcaulay.com

#7 JT

What can we say about JT that has not already been said. Strategically he is 5 steps ahead. I loved how his mind was processing how he can get the idol, even though it was around Eve’s neck.

Dave_Profile.png.2018-04-07T16_04_15+12_00
Photo: www.scottmcaulay.com

 #8 Dave

Dave dropped for me big time this week. For such a smart guy, I did not love the uncertainty in his face when Franky was raised. At this time in the game, just go with the majority and internalise that emotion, or go have subtle 1 to 1 conversations. I think it is also telling he was being told how to vote, not dictating the vote himself.

 #9 Adam

Adam is giving me life! He is tons of fun and arguably the best casting choice of the season. His sass is great TV and he appears in a safe position as of now with Tess and the boys, but I worry long term whether his tongue will come back to bite him.

 #10 Lisa

Where has LISA GONE!!! She was fantastic episode 1 and has been absolutely invisible ever since. Not in danger, but I want to see more of her gameplay on our screens!

Tara_Profile.png.2018-04-10T08_34_01+12_00

 #11 Tara

Tara talked about playing low key at the moment, but I fear she is not playing hard enough. The others have all made alliances and she is the odd women out at the moment.

Kaysha_Profile.png.2018-04-07T16_04_36+12_00
Photo: www.scottmcaulay.com

 #12 Kaysha

I’m nervous for Kaysha. The edit is telling us Dylan is the percieved GOAT and that Kaysha is the person who is most threatening to the “tight 5” alliance. She is going to have to go full Wentworth and kick Dylan under that bus if she is to stay safe if Khang Khaw finally go to tribal council.

Liam_Profile.png.2018-04-10T14_57_15+12_00
Photo: www.scottmcaulay.com

 #13 Liam

Still the odd man out. I like Liam but his fundamental grasp of the game Survivor is lacking.

Renee_Profile.png.2018-04-07T16_04_42+12_00
Photo: www.scottmcaulay.com

 #14 Renee

… I still have no idea really who Renee is? She is on the outs and potentially could be the next person out. Chani have already voted out 3 women, will she be the 4th?

Dylan_Profile.png.2018-04-10T14_57_31+12_00
Photo: www.scottmcaulay.com

 #15 Dylan

It finally happened. I’m putting Dylan last in my power rankings. He has somehow (we’ve not been shown) ostracised himself from his tribe. They are showing him as sulking alone on the river bank by himself implying he has no friends and Kaysha is kicking him under the bus. I hope Dylan can turn this around and slither his way into a crack.

Dead to us – Franky… No exit interviews this week. Disappointing considering she was voted in by the fans and this is the ultimate fan platform. I really like Franky so I hope I can get something with her eventually.
